About Back to the Barre

Ballet is not only for children. Every week adults walk into studios for the first time, or for the first time in twenty years, and the hardest part is finding a class that was actually built for them.

Back to the Barre is a free, searchable directory of ballet studios with real adult classes. We sort by the things adults ask about: is this for true beginners or for people coming back? Does it start after work? Can I drop in, and what does one class cost?

How listings are made

Each listing comes from the studio's own public page and stays unclaimed until the studio confirms it. Claiming is free. See our criteria.
